Algae grows anywhere that stays damp. In this climate that is most north-facing walls and anything under tree cover.
Black spotting under the eaves
Mildew collects where water sheets off the roof line and sits.
Spider webbing and wasp nests
Corners, columns, and soffits collect nesting that a rinse alone will not clear.
Pollen and dust film
Spring leaves a yellow layer on everything. It comes off easily, and it comes back.

Check the exterior first
Loose siding, failing caulk, open weep holes, damaged screens, and chalky paint all get noted before we start, not after.

Protect what is around the work
Landscaping near the wall gets wet down before and rinsed after. Outlets, fixtures, and open windows get checked.

Apply, dwell, rinse
A cleaning solution is applied at low pressure and given time to work. That is what actually kills and releases the growth.

Finish from the top down
Soffits and upper walls first so nothing runs back over cleaned siding, then a full rinse to the foundation.
Being straight with you
Where cleaning stops.
Soft washing removes organic growth, film, and surface staining. It does not restore chalky, oxidized vinyl to its original color, repaint anything, or hide siding that is failing. Heavily oxidized siding will look cleaner and still look faded, and we will say so before we quote it.
Questions
About house washing.
Do you use high pressure on the house?
No. Siding, painted wood, stucco, and soffits are cleaned at low pressure. The solution does the cleaning. High pressure on a wall drives water behind the siding, and that is a real problem, not a hypothetical one.
Is it safe for my plants?
Landscaping along the wall is wet down before we start and rinsed again after, which is the part that matters. If you have something delicate, point it out when we walk the property.
How often should a house be washed?
It depends on shade and exposure more than on the calendar. Heavy tree cover means sooner. An open, sunny wall holds longer.
Do you clean roofs?
We do not offer roof cleaning.
